Overview:
Park Kyung-Won (24th June 1901 - 7th August 1933) was the first Korean female civilian aviator. She was a strong woman who's pride and courage weren't to be taken lightly. She won various prizes in races as well as graduated Tachikawa aviation school as top student. On the 7th August 1933, she came across a thick fog as she was flying back to Korea. The fog obstructing her view, she crashed her plane, Blue Swallow near Hakone and tragically died.
